Youth-Centered Permanency Roundtables (YCPRT) Program

Welcome to the table

Youth-Centered Permanency Roundtables (YCPRT) put youth at the center of important meetings designed to lead to lifelong connections with the goal of establishing legal permanency. Learn more about the process via the graphic or explore the site!

What is YCPRT?

Youth-Centered Permanency Roundtables (YCPRT) are collaborative, youth-led meetings that put young people at the center of their own permanency planning.

Designed for youth aged 12 and older who have been in care for a year or more, these structured, strengths-based conversations bring together supportive adults—caseworkers, family, mentors, and system partners—to explore options, remove barriers, and build lifelong connections.

Each roundtable creates space for youth to share their story, voice their hopes, and shape the path forward. With a focus on both legal and relational permanency, YCPRT helps ensure that every young person has the support, stability, and belonging they deserve.
